Richard Ford Award (Museo del Prado residency)

I am proud to share that I was chosen as joint overall winner of the Richard Ford Award 2025. The award enables recent graduates to immerse themselves in Museo del Prado's collection for a minimum of three weeks. The trip was an absolute dream and I can't wait to see how what I learned pushes my practice forward. My drawings from the trip are now held digitally in the Prado and Royal Academy archives. Selected drawings are viewable below, I will share more about the experience on Substack soon.

Below you will find selected pocket sketchbook pages from the Drawing Year. I tend to complete one every few months with observational sketches, studies from exhibitions, films and photos, and notes from artist talks or conversations. I rarely sketch out ideas before making work but these occasionally make their way in too. I also share selected pages on Instagram.
